Dear Victor died 4 hours after he came out of surgery last night. We have lost in body a bright, gentle, wise, beautiful keeper of West Coast First Nations wisdom, language & cultural traditions.

Just in from Victor’s 18 year old son Sol: DAD’S SURGERY WAS A COMPLETE SUCCESS!!!!!!! not out of the woods, but this stage of the journey is done!!!!! God bless the entire medical staff at Royal Juibilee Hospital!!!!! Such a relief!!!
